Kip Up

A kip-up (also called a rising handspring, kick-up, Chinese get up, kick-to-stand, nip-up , flip-up, or carp skip-up) is an acrobatic move in which a person transitions from a supine and less commonly, a prone position, to a standing or kneeing position.
Not only does the kip-up require muscle activation and strength, but it also requires proper technique for successful completion. Join the POLE NINJA Genevieve Bianchi for a 90 minute workshop to learn the hottest pole kips ups.
Participants should be able to do a basic shoulder stand, shoulder stand pike, a basic shoulder roll, hip raise and back bend or bridge pose. This workshop is for late beginner, intermediate and advanced students as progressions will be taught.
Floor, standing and shoulder mount kips will be taught.
